#i wish i could remember more

Hay so- I'm bored.

So I have some Luke Headcanons because he doesn't get enough attention from the fandom!!!!!!

YAHHHHHH!!!!! ❀(*´▽`*)❀ (keep in mind this is based on my AU and personal delusions)

1. Luke and Michael are close. Like Michael has blatant favoritism towards him compared to everyone else around them.

2. Luke doesn't really get romantic, like at all. He can't understand the brother's romantic affection towards MC when he hears them mention kissing and stuff. He thinks stuff like "Yuck, that's not sanitary". And it's not that he doesn't feel any romantic love, he just doesn't understand it. And if one day he does fall in love he won't be able to recognize it on his own.

3. Out of the brothers in public, he'd say Beelzebub is his favorite, but actually, it's Lucifer. He doesn't know why, and it embarrasses him a lot.

4. Luke doesn't have a mother like the rest of the Celestial children. He was made by God like Lucifer, it's why he's so special. Which would technically make them brothers, but no one but God knows that because he left Luke in Michael's care.

5. Luke is bad with children his age. He's so used to being around adults that he doesn't know how to be a child. His childishness comes from his young and being naive. And children his age don't tend to like him for some reason. (It's because he's too "grown up" to them)

6. He is very smart academically. It's part of the reason why he was allowed to go to RAD. Cuz it's basically a college.

7. He hates spicy food. He has zero spice tolerance.

I hope you can see this correctly. It's a survey about fandoms, it will be useful in a study about the vocabulary that we use and our knowledge about this spaces. This time is BBC Sherlock. I think it's a great thing that we can all do, and another place where we can share our love for this fandom and what we built together.

In virtue of this, I would like some guidance. In one part of the survey there is a section about phrases or words that we use that are specific of our fandom, and I CAN'T remember any (except maybe TJLC and Johnlock). Do we use a specific language with each other that it's unique of us? Some other code words? I can't remember.

bisexual lighting (while I don't think we coined it main-stream, it became a little more popular after our fandom spent a LOT of time examining it)

a bit of a selfish one here, because I am pretty sure I coined this one: the mary problem. Another one not really beyond my own blog and the small circle that follows me, but I did see a bigger blog a long time ago use it AND credit me for it, so whee.

DON'T remember the EXACT phrasing, but it was something like "the fake baby is guns and money", where during the S3/S4 hiatus, speculation about the "baby" was that it wasn't real, and jokes devolved to "hahah the baby is Mary's secret stash of guns and money". It was silly and I loved it.

"something's fucky" came about after S4, and I don't know if it spawned from our fandom, but I'd NEVER seen it used before S4 shitposters used it.

Another I don't remember the exact phrasing, but "a camp gay and an angry bisexual dynamic"

phone = heart metaphor, the tea code, and food = sex metaphors

I know I'm missing a PLETHORA of them... I've a terrible headache so my capacity for remembering things is very low right now, and I've been in this fandom for SO long, I've seen things come and go too often. If anyone wants to add to this list, please do!

Weirdest fucking thing from this morning...

I woke up with a pretty solid memory of what i was dreaming about, and the Distinct Understanding that what I was dreaming about was like..... The third episode of that particular dream??????????

I do not remember the first two, i only Barely remember what happened in this one (it was one of those dreams where i wasn't Present persay, the perspective character was a young woman with red hair, it had something to do with gods in a sort of Modern Fantasy setting ala percy jackson and horrible grotesque monsters) but i Know that whatever happened here was the Follow up to two previous dreams which just seems Wild to me...

Does anyone else remember the stage production of Batman Live from 2011?

I went to see it when it was in Glasgow, but due to The Horrors (medical shit), I can't remember most of it. I just remember it was a lot of fun watching what was essentially Cirque du Batman, complete with a Batmobile that moved over the stage like it was gliding on ice.

Also, Dick "Flying" Grayson's wires got tangled at one point, and he got stuck suspended upside down, so they had to pause everything to get him down, and in true Glaswegian fashion, without missing a beat, the guy sitting behind me and my friend went, "Fuck me, he really can fly."

going through some old logs, and I need you to understand just how truly unhinged early 2010s RP omegle was.

genuinely you could stay on there for hours with just one person, hashing out complex traumatic backstories, drawn-out love confessions, detailed action scenes...collaboratively describing graphic violence, past abuse, comfort, hurt/comfort, hurt/no comfort, any number of sex acts...and then one of you would be like, "oh haha it's 2AM! I have to sleep :(" and the other person would say, "omg saaaame. :( gnight!!!" and then you'd exit the chat and never speak to each other again, and this was. fine.

you could just spend an entire evening shoving your wretched, bleeding soul into a chat log with someone you'd never meet or learn the name of, achieve some form of emotional catharsis, and then go about your day or night like this was an average way to spend your time.

Small but significant character moments that I actually really adore are from both the times we see the boys as tots. There is a reoccurrence that happens in both of them that I find so incredibly interesting.

For the turtle tot short, Splinter leaves the boys with weapons. In the short, Raph is the one who suggests they do “what Lou Jitsu would do” and Leo is the one who takes point when Splinter comes back to reprimand them. Leo, in taking point, is the one to defend them and get Splinter off their tails.

And then, in the flashback regarding the Kuroi Yōroi helmet, Raph is the one who grabs and throws “Skully” as a way to replace their missing ball which breaks it into pieces, but Leo is the one who speaks for the group and rushes into action to fix the teapot.

I love this for multiple reasons, but the biggest are how it shows that Raph has always been inclined toward the bold and fun and making the plans to include his brothers in what he loves and believes they’d love, whereas Leo has always been inclined to be the “Face” of the group and shoulder the attention even if it’s potentially negative all while coming up with on the spot attempts to fix the situation.
